This Grand Canyon helicopter tour departs and returns to a luxury air terminal located just off the Las Vegas Strip. At the air terminal, passengers will board a helicopter designed specifically for sightseeing and fly to the Grand Canyon West in comfort. Along the way, passengers can find aerial views of Hoover Dam, Lake Mead, the Colorado River, and the stunning desert scenery. Upon arrival at the West Rim, the helicopter will descend all the way to the canyon floor. Passengers will disembark the aircraft and have ample time to explore the bottom of the Grand Canyon while the pilot prepares light snacks and a champagne toast.

On the return journey to Las Vegas, the helicopter tour will fly over the entire Strip, offering aerial sights of the race street circuit, the team paddocks, and the grandstands!

Sample Itinerary:

  • Clients have the option to be picked up from several major hotels in Las Vegas approximately 60 minutes to 90 minutes before departure depending on hotel location.
  • Passengers also have the option to transport themselves to the air terminal. If self-drive option selected, passengers must arrive 45 minutes prior to their departure time.
  • Clients arrive at Las Vegas VIP Terminal. All passengers 18 years of age and older will be required to present a government-issued photo ID.
  • Clients board EC130 helicopter. Flight time to Grand Canyon West is approximately 45 minutes.
  • As the flight nears the canyon, enjoy spectacular views of the volcanic Black Mountains, the Bowl of Fire, Grapevine Mesa, Grand Wash Cliffs, and Grand Canyon West.
  • Descend approximately 3,200 feet and land on the floor of the canyon.
  • Approximately 30 minutes on the canyon floor to enjoy a champagne toast, light refreshments, and time to explore.
  • Board the helicopter right before sunset and enjoy a slightly different scenic route to the Las Vegas terminal with a flight over the Las Vegas Strip.
  • Return to Las Vegas Terminal.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Bring your I.D. - Passengers 18 years and older must bring a government-issued form of identification.
  • Check-in is 45 minutes before the booked tour's start time.
  • Roundtrip hotel transfers are available as an option. Clients must request pick-up during check-out or provide their own transportation to the air terminal. Pick-up from limited hotels on the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown area is approximately 60-90 minutes before flight departure (times are based on hotel location, time of day, and traffic conditions).
  • Passengers also have the option to transport themselves to the air terminal. If self-drive option selected, passengers must arrive 45 minutes prior to their departure time.
  • If transfers selected, please arrange pickup from your hotel when you call to confirm your reservation.
  • All helicopter passengers will be weighed at the time of check-in. Papillon will charge passengers weighing 300 pounds (136 kg) or more for an additional comfort seat.
  • Pilot gratuity is not included and is left to individual discretion.
  • CANCELLATION POLICY: Tour may be changed or cancelled without penalty up to 72 hours before departure, subject to availability. Cancellations within 72 hours of departure are non-refundable. No-shows will be charged in full with no refund. Flights are subject to cancellation due to lack of passenger demand, weather, etc.
  • Baggage Restrictions - Due to limited space, purses, backpacks, and other baggage are not permitted on the aircraft.
  • All passengers are required to reconfirm their tour at least 24 hours in advance by contacting our reservations department at 702-835-8477. Please have your reservation number available.
  • FUEL SURCHARGE: A prime time supplement and/or fuel surcharge may apply.
